ACAD8 [23-415 a.a.], Recombinant Protein

Partner: NKMax Bio (ATGen)

Applications:SDS-PAGE
Species Reactivity:Human
MW:45.1kDa (416aa) confirmed by MALDI-TOF
Purity:> 95% by SDS - PAGE
Description:ACAD8 is a member of the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family of enzymes that catalyze the dehydrogenation of acyl-CoA derivatives in the metabolism of fatty acids or branch chained amino acids. The protein is a mitochondrial enzyme that functions in catabolism of the branched-chain amino acid valine. Defects in this gene are the cause of isobutyryl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency. Recombinant human ACAD8 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
