Adenosine Deaminase/ADA [1-363 a.a.], Recombinant Protein

Partner: NKMax Bio (ATGen)

Applications:Enzyme Activity, SDS-PAGE
Species Reactivity:Human
MW:42.9 kDa (383aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF
Purity:> 85% by SDS - PAGE
Description:ADA, also known as adenosine deaminase, catalyzes the hydrolytic deamination of adenosine and 2-deoxyadenosine. This protein plays an important role in purine metabolism and in adenosine homeostasis. ADA acts as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation, by binding DPP4. Its interaction with DPP4 regulates lymphocyte-epithelial cell adhesion. Recombinant human ADA protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.
