Description: | NHP2, also called NOLA2, forms a small ribonucleoprotein particle with GAR1 (NOLA1), Nop10 for the isomerization of uridine to pseudouridine. This protein is involved in various aspects of rRNA processing and modification. It localizes to the dense fibrillar component of the nucleolus and in nuclear Cajal bodies. Recombinant human NHP2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography. |
