15-PGDH/HPGD [1-266 a.a.], Recombinant Protein

Partner: NKMax Bio (ATGen)

Applications:SDS-PAGE
Species Reactivity:Human
MW:31.1 (286aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF
Purity:> 95% by SDS - PAGE
Description:HPGD, also known as 15-PGDH, is the fundamental enzyme of prostaglandin degradation. This protein strongly reduces the biologic activity of these molecules by catalyzing the oxidation of the 15-hydroxyl group of prostaglandins to a keto group. HPGD is implicated in many physiologic and cellular processes, such as inflammation. Recombinant human HPGD protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques
