Description: | NIP7, also known as the 60S ribosome subunit biogenesis protein NIP7 homolog, belongs to NIP7 family and contains 1 PuA domain. It interacts with pre-ribosome complex and may bind to RNA. This protein is required for proper 27S pre-rRNA processing and 60S ribosome subunit assembly. Recombinant human NIP7 protein, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. |
