UCH-L1/PGP95 [3D9], Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

Partner: NKMax Bio (ATGen)

Applications:ELISA, WB, ICC/IF, IHC
Species Reactivity:Human
Isotype:Mouse IgG2a kappa
Immunogen:Recombinant human PGP9.5 (1-223aa) purified from E. coli
Purification:By protein-G affinity chromatography
Conjugation:Unconjugated
Description:PGP9. 5/UCH-L1 is a member of a gene family whose products hydrolyze small C-terminal adducts of ubiquitin to generate the ubiquitin monomer. PGP9. 5 is a component of the ubiquitin system, which has a fundamental role in regulating various biological activities. PGP9. 5 gene encodes two opposing enzymatic activities that affect alpha-synuclein degradation and Parkinson's disease susceptibility.
Further Information:The antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot and immunohistochemistry analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot is 1:500 ~ 1:2,000 and immunohistochemistry analysis is 1:100~200. Recommended starting dilution for Western blot is 1:1,000 and Immunohistochemistry is 1:100.

The Cell and Tissue lysates (40ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human PGP9.5 antibody (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system.Lane 1.: Mouse Brain lysate Lane 2.: U87-MG cell lysate

Paraffin embedded sections of human nerve tissue were incubated with anti-human PGP9.5 (1:100) for 2 hours at room temperature. Antigen retrieval was performed in 0.1M sodium citrate buffer and detected using Diaminobenzidine (DAB).
