PSMB1 [C-term] [RB22483], Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Partner: Abcepta, Inc.

Applications:FC, IF, IHC-P, WB
Species Reactivity:Human, Mouse
Isotype:Rabbit Ig
Purification:Affinity Purified Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Description:PSMB1 is a multicatalytic proteinase complex with a highly ordered ring-shaped 20S core structure. The core structure is composed of 4 rings of 28 non-identical subunits; 2 rings are composed of 7 alpha subunits and 2 rings are composed of 7 beta subunits. Proteasomes are distributed throughout eukaryotic cells at a high concentration and cleave peptides in an ATP/ubiquitin-dependent process in a non-lysosomal pathway. An essential function of a modified proteasome, the immunoproteasome, is the processing of class I MHC peptides.
Further Information:This PSMB1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 214-241 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human PSMB1.
Synonym:Proteasome subunit beta type-1, Macropain subunit C5, Multicatalytic endopeptidase complex subunit C5, Proteasome component C5, Proteasome gamma chain, PSMB1, PSC5
Ascension Number:P20618
NCBI EntrezGene:5689
