FGG [N-term] [RB18713], Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Partner: Abcepta, Inc.

Applications:WB, IF, FC
Species Reactivity:Human
Isotype:Rabbit Ig
Purification:Purified Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Description:FGG is the gamma component of fibrinogen, a blood-borne glycoprotein comprised of three pairs of nonidentical polypeptide chains. Following vascular injury, fibrinogen is cleaved by thrombin to form fibrin which is the most abundant component of blood clots. In addition, various cleavage products of fibrinogen and fibrin regulate cell adhesion and spreading, display vasoconstrictor and chemotactic activities, and are mitogens for several cell types. Mutations in this protein lead to several disorders, including dysfibrinogenemia, hypofibrinogenemia and thrombophilia.
Further Information:This FGG antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 91-118 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human FGG.
Synonym:Fibrinogen gamma chain, FGG
Ascension Number:P02679
NCBI EntrezGene:2266
Shipping Conditions:Ship on cold packs
Storage:Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20 C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
