DCAF12L2 [C-term] [RB38745], Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Partner: Abcepta, Inc.

Applications:WB
Species Reactivity:Human
Isotype:Rabbit Ig
Purification:Affinity Purified Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Description:This gene encodes a member of the WD repeat proteinfamily. WD repeats are minimally conserved regions of approximately40 amino acids typically bracketed by Gly-His and Trp-Asp (GH-WD),which may facilitate formation of heterotrimeric or multi-proteincomplexes. Members of this family are involved in a variety ofcellular processes, including cell cycle progression, signaltransduction, apoptosis, and gene regulation. This gene appears torepresent an intronless retrocopy of a related multi-exon genelocated on chromosome 9. However, the CDS of this intronless generemains intact, it is conserved in other mammalian species, it isknown to be transcribed, and it is therefore thought to encode afunctional protein.
Further Information:This DCAF12L2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 312-338 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human DCAF12L2.
Synonym:DDB1- and CUL4-associated factor 12-like protein 2, WD repeat-containing protein 40C, DCAF12L2, WDR40C
Ascension Number:Q5VW00
