BIKE [Centre] [RB2058], Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Partner: Abcepta, Inc.

Applications:IHC-P, WB
Species Reactivity:Human, Mouse
Isotype:Rabbit Ig
Purification:Purified Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Description:BIKE is the human homolog of mouse BMP-2-inducible kinase. Bone morphogenic proteins (BMPs) play a key role in skeletal development and patterning. Expression of the mouse gene is increased during BMP-2 induced differentiation and the gene product is a putative serine/threonine protein kinase containing a nuclear localization signal. Therefore, the protein encoded by this human homolog is thought to be a protein kinase with a putative regulatory role in attenuating the program of osteoblast differentiation.
Further Information:This BIKE antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 260-291 amino acids from the Central region of human BIKE.
Synonym:BMP-2-inducible protein kinase, BIKe, BMP2K, BIKE
Ascension Number:Q9NSY1
NCBI EntrezGene:55589
Shipping Conditions:Ship on cold packs
Storage:Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20 C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
