Partner: Abcepta, Inc.

Applications:IF, WB
Species Reactivity:Human
Isotype:IgM,K
Purification:Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Description:This gene encodes paired box gene 6, one of many humanhomologs of the Drosophila melanogaster gene prd. In addition tothe hallmark feature of this gene family, a conserved paired boxdomain, the encoded protein also contains a homeo box domain. Bothdomains are known to bind DNA, and function as regulators of genetranscription. This gene is expressed in the developing nervoussystem, and in developing eyes. Mutations in this gene are known tocause ocular disorders such as aniridia and Peter's anomaly.Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding either the sameor different isoform have been found for this gene. [provided byRefSeq].
Further Information:This PAX6 Monoclonal antibody was raised using purified His-tagged recombinant human PAX6.
