Description: | LYVE-1 has been identified as a major receptor for HA (extracellular matrix glycosaminoglycan hyaluronan) on the lymph vessel wall. The deduced amino acid sequence of LYVE-1 predicts a 322-residue type I integral membrane polypeptide 41% similar to the CD44 HA receptor with a 212-residue extracellular domain containing a single Link module the prototypic HA binding domain of the Link protein superfamily. LYVE-1 is the first lymph-specific HA receptor to be characterized. Later, LYVE-1 was reported to express in liver sinusoid blood vessels. However, in most tissues, LVYE-1 is a specific marker for lymph vessels. This antibody was raised against the extracellular domain of mouse LYVE-1 molecule in rabbit. It works well for both frozen and paraffin sections. |
Further Information: | The antibody will detect mouse LYVE-1 on the surface of lymphatic endothelial cells by immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin sections). The antibody detects a 70 KD LYVE-1 band in Western blotting. |
Shipping Conditions: | Ship on cold packs |
Storage: | The antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4C. It should be kept at -20C for long-term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
