Description: | WLS, a Wnt trafficking regulator, is a multipass transmembrane protein that regulates the sorting and secretion of Wnt protein. It is required for organogenesis during embryogenesis and for the establishment of the anterior-posterior axis. WLS promotes various cancers such as glioma tumourigenesis. The gene encoding WLS maps to human chromosome 1 and is expressed as multiple alternatively spliced isoforms. Recombinant human WLS protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli. |
