Description: | Tubulin Beta 3 is 450 amino acid protein. Tubulin is the major constituent of microtubules. It binds two moles of GTP, one at an exchangeable site on the beta chain and one at a non-exchangeable site on the alpha-chain. TUBB3 plays a critical role in proper axon guidance and mantainance. Its expression is primarily restricted to central and peripheral nervous system. |
Further Information: | The antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot analysis, ICC/IF and Flow cytmetry to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1000. Recommended dilution range for ICC/IF and Flow cytometry is 1:200. |
